If I have a show with multiple casts I like to save my eq/gain/comp settings with "cast 1" to say scene 299. You can recall any snippet or scene in each cue. My mix on the ensemble won't change just the mic I want to. I like it in theatre if I want to add a quick mic cue while let's say an ensemble is singing. Kind of like a snapshot on the avid desks but a little less customizable. Snippets allow you to change the value of almost any control on the desk and only that (if you wish). Scenes work the same as most desks including some selectable channel/parameter recall safes. The X32 has essentially two different kinds of recall options.
